PalySales offers five pricing tiers that scale with your business. Each plan includes AI-powered sales, product management, and order processing — higher tiers unlock more channels, higher limits, and premium features.

Your region is automatically detected when you sign up. Nigerian users see NGN prices; everyone else (including Canada) sees USD prices.

Free Trial

New stores are eligible for a 7-day free trial on the plan of your choice. Here's how it works:

  1. After creating your store, you're redirected to the Choose Plan page
  2. Pick any plan — Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate
  3. Click Start Free Trial
  4. You'll be taken to a Stripe (or Paystack for Nigeria) checkout page to enter your payment details
  5. Your card is not charged during the 7-day trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing
  6. After 7 days, your chosen plan is automatically charged at the displayed price

Important: A payment method is required to start a trial, but you won't be charged until the trial period ends.

Trial eligibility: One trial per store per year. The system tracks eligibility at both the store level and your account level, so creating a new store with the same account won't reset the cooldown. If you're not eligible for a trial, the buttons on the plan page will say Subscribe Now instead of Start Free Trial.

How to Change Your Plan

  1. In the left sidebar, click Settings
  2. Click Billing in the settings menu
  3. You'll see your current plan and usage
  4. Click Change Plan to view available options
  5. Select a new plan and confirm

Upgrades take effect immediately — you're charged a prorated amount for the remaining days in your billing cycle.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to your current plan until then.

How to Cancel

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Your store remains fully functional until the end of your paid period
  4. After that, your store functionality is paused until you re-subscribe

How to Reactivate

If your subscription is canceled but hasn't expired yet, you can reactivate it from Settings → Billing to resume your plan without interruption.

Usage Tracking

Usage is tracked per store and resets on the 1st of each month.

What Counts as a Conversation?

An AI conversation is a single customer interaction session. Multiple messages within the same session count as one conversation. A new session starts after 24 hours of inactivity, or when a resolved conversation receives a new message.

What Counts as a Message?

Each individual message sent or received within a conversation counts toward your AI messages limit. This is separate from the conversation count. A single conversation might use 5-20 messages depending on how long the customer interacts.

Usage Warnings

PalySales sends notifications as you approach your plan limits:

When you hit a limit, the affected feature stops working until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. For example, if you hit your AI conversation limit, new customer messages won't receive AI responses.

How to Check Your Usage

  1. In the left sidebar, click Settings
  2. Click Billing
  3. You'll see a breakdown of your current usage against your plan limits

FAQ

Can I change plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date.

Is there a free plan?

No. PalySales offers a 7-day free trial on the plan of your choice. After the trial, your selected plan is charged automatically. Plans start at $29/month (Starter).

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes. All plans offer yearly billing with roughly 15% savings. You can select yearly billing when choosing your plan.

I'm in Canada — what currency do I pay in?

Canada is billed in USD through Stripe, the same as the US and all other global regions.

How do I get an invoice?

Go to Settings → Billing → Invoices to view and download your invoice history. You can also fetch invoices via GET /api/billing/invoices.

What's the difference between conversations and messages?

A conversation is a session with a customer (one conversation can span many messages). A message is each individual message within that conversation. Both have separate limits on your plan.
