Getting Started

Set up your PalySales store in minutes — from signup to your first sale.

This guide walks you through creating your PalySales store, step by step. No technical knowledge required.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Go to app.palysales.com/register. You have two options:

  • Email and password — enter your email, choose a password, and click Sign Up
  • Google sign-in — click the Continue with Google button for one-click signup

If you sign up with email, you'll receive a verification email. Open your email, click the confirmation link, and you'll be redirected back to PalySales. Google sign-in users skip this step.

Step 2: Set Up Your Store

After your account is verified, you'll land on the store creation wizard. This is a simple 2-step form:

Page 1 — Store Details

You'll see three fields:

  • Store Name (required) — your business name. This also generates your store URL (e.g., your-store.palysales.com)
  • Description (optional) — a short description of what you sell
  • WhatsApp Phone Number (optional) — your business WhatsApp number. You can add this later too

Fill in at least your store name, then click Continue at the bottom of the page.

Page 2 — Business Settings

On the next page, you'll configure your business region:

  • Country — start typing your country name to search. A flag will appear next to each option. Your country is auto-detected, but you can change it
  • Store Currency — the currency your customers will see on prices (e.g., NGN, USD). This is independent of your billing currency
  • Timezone — auto-set based on your country selection, but you can change it

At the bottom, you'll see a summary card showing your selected country, currency, and timezone. Click Create Store to finish.

Note: Your billing is always in USD (or NGN if you're in Nigeria). The store currency you choose here is what your customers see when browsing your products.

Behind the scenes, PalySales automatically:

  • Creates your store and generates your storefront URL
  • Sets up default store policies (Privacy, Terms, Returns, Shipping)
  • Seeds initial knowledge documents for your AI assistant
  • Provisions your AI sales assistant

After a brief loading screen showing "Store Created!", you'll be automatically redirected to the plan selection page.

Step 3: Choose Your Plan

You'll land on the Choose Plan page, where you'll see the available pricing tiers (Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Ultimate). You can toggle between monthly and yearly billing at the top.

If you're eligible for a free trial, you'll see a "7-day free trial" badge at the top and each plan's button will say Start Free Trial. Pick the plan that fits your needs and click the button.

You'll be taken to a Stripe or Paystack checkout page to enter your payment details. Your card won't be charged during the 7-day trial period — if you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing.

After the trial, your chosen plan is charged automatically at the displayed price.

Not sure which plan? You can start with Starter ($29/mo) and upgrade later. See Billing & Plans for a full comparison of all five plans and their limits.

Step 4: Add Your Products

Once you're in the dashboard, it's time to add your products:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Products
  2. Click the Add Product button in the top-right corner
  3. Fill in the product form:
    • Title — your product name (the AI uses this to answer customer questions)
    • Description — detailed description (the AI uses this too, so be thorough)
    • Search Terms — synonyms or alternate names customers might use (e.g., "sneakers" for "running shoes")
    • Images — upload product photos by dragging them into the image area, or click Generate with AI to create images using AI
    • Price and variants — set pricing, and if your product has options (like sizes or colors), toggle Has Variants to set up variant combinations
    • Category — organize products into categories for your storefront
  4. Set the status to Active and click Save in the top-right corner

When you save a product, PalySales automatically generates vector embeddings for AI-powered search. This means customers can ask natural questions like "do you have something warm for winter?" and the AI will find matching products.

Step 5: Connect a Sales Channel

Go to the channel you want to connect:

ChannelHow to ConnectSetup Time
WhatsAppIn the left sidebar, click Settings → Channels, then click the WhatsApp card~10 minutes
InstagramSame path, click the Instagram card (requires Business plan)~10 minutes
StorefrontIn the left sidebar, click Settings → Storefront, then toggle it on~5 minutes

Each channel connects to the same AI assistant. Customers get a consistent experience whether they message you on WhatsApp, Instagram, or visit your online store.
